We are a small farm in the wilderness of Southeast Alaska.
We are striving to breed quality animals and the perfect family milker. We want strong hardy animals that thrive on our rugged Alaskan lifestyle. We are on milk test and had our first linear appraisal August 2023. Our does usually qualified for their milk stars easily. We have been importing Nigerian bucks from the top milk producing lines in the country. Inferno is a grandson of the all-time highest milker the late Sugar Moon V Zuzanna who shattered the record for Nigerians with 2190 lbs in 305 days. His dam Sugar moon Starlight has milked 1610 lbs. One of his daughters in another herd milked 1510 as a FF. My new buck Better Wayz EJ North to Alaska is from really consistent lines with an ELITE sire and dams with high LA scores. His dam milked 770 lbs in 178 days as a FF with LA of VVEV88. His grandam Harmony is the all-time butterfat record holder.
We live near the town of Petersburg in southeast, see map below. We can ship to Anchorage and Juneau easily on ACE Cargo for under $2 per pound (not sure exactly with the prices rising), final destinations beyond main hubs the buyer will need to coordinate. We can ship to most places in southeast fairly easy. No health certificate required in state with the smaller airlines.
